What Has the Lord Been Teaching you recently??

What has God been teaching you lately? This is a question that we should ponder regularly. We can bring glory to our Father in Heaven by sharing these kinds of things with each other. So I want to share a few thoughts that The Lord has been encouraging me with and I would invite anyone to share as well in the comment section below.

* The Lord is not angry or impatient with me when I ask Him about things I should understand by now but still do not. I can be real with Him and tell Him what is on my heart, I can tell Him everything - things that no one else would understand and even embarrassing things.

*Jesus whispers in the quietness - Come, Take my Hand, Come with Me, Follow Me

*Jesus hears us pray, He hears me cry out to Him. In the midst of the noise all around, He picks up my voice out of the crowd. He hears me, He is pleased to hear me, He loves me and will answer. Remember the story in the Bible of Bartimaeus. He called out to Jesus for healing. Jesus picked up on his cry in the midst of the crowd and called for Bartimaeus, and Jesus healed him. Read the story below - it is found in Mark 10:46 -52

And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
